Avenue is a multi-platform streaming service that includes music, shows, and movies. I was tasked with creating a campaign that would encourage people to download this new app. During my brainstorming process, I was reminded of the way I have rewatched “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days” about a thousand times. This got me thinking about how people tend to rewatch and replay their favorite songs, movies, and shows over and over again, simply for the joy and comfort it brings them. This greatly inspired my entire campaign; I wanted to create a non- judgmental personality for the brand that encouraged people to rewatch and replay their favorite shows, movies, and songs as much as they want, because comfort is what matters most.I created a fun and bright logo for the app, and decided to transform bus shelters for this campaign. I included a comfy couch that could set the mood for the app. The ads include copy with personality, each ending with the phrase, “We don’t judge what brings you comfort.” I also included a bar code for people to scan that immediately takes them to download the app.
